A five-minute break that stays simple
Choose one nature sound, step away from the task, and skip the elaborate setup when you only have a few minutes.
Don’t spend the break preparing the break
If you have a few minutes between tasks, choose the first familiar sound you actually want to hear. Rain, Waves, or Stream on its own is enough. You can make a more detailed combination later when experimenting is part of what you want to do.
Get up from the desk, look out of the window, or make a drink. The sound can accompany the pause without becoming its main event. You don’t have to check whether you are feeling calmer every thirty seconds.
Use a still view if you want one
A Gallery scene is an option when you would rather look at something different. Pick the picture, choose one offered sound, and press Start. Try it without Slow zoom first so you aren’t deciding about movement during an already short break.
Fullscreen is there if it makes the view more enjoyable, but you can leave it in the page. Use whichever takes less setup. If you only wanted to hear a little water while making tea, the main mixer may be all you need.
Choose your own end
The main mixer offers preset sleep-timer durations, so don’t expect a custom five-minute timer from it. If you want an exact reminder, use the clock or alarm you normally use. Otherwise, pause when the drink is ready or when you decide to return.
Close an immersive Gallery view to clear its sounds, or pause the main mixer to keep its selection. Then go back to the next thing without reviewing whether the break was successful. A few ordinary minutes away from the task can simply be a few ordinary minutes.
