Everyday listening

Grass breeze is worth a listen on its own

Before tucking it behind birds and water, spend a few minutes with the softer outdoor texture by itself.

Leave the other layers off for a moment

It’s tempting to treat Grass breeze as the finishing touch in a mix, something you add after the more obvious sounds. Try starting with it instead. Choose the grass or wind-on-grass layer in the main mixer and listen quietly before deciding what else belongs there.

Use a real little activity for the comparison: sorting the papers beside you, reading a page, or sitting with a drink. Staring at the slider makes every change feel important. Getting back to the room helps you decide whether you actually enjoy the background.

Compare detail with open space

Add Birds if you want a few more noticeable moments. Keep the bird layer low and compare the combination with Grass breeze alone. The version without birds might feel a little empty at first, but you may prefer that space once your attention is elsewhere.

Wind is another possible companion, although you don’t need two wind-related layers just because their names fit together. Listen to what the combination adds. If you can’t explain why you prefer it, return to the smaller selection and leave it playing for a bit.

A scene can stay simple too

Golden Dunes in Gallery offers Wind and Grass breeze. You can choose one without turning on both. Press Start when the selection is ready, then try the picture still before deciding whether Slow zoom adds anything you like.

The scene doesn’t have to be full of activity to be worth looking at. A quiet image and one sound can be the entire session. Close the immersive view when you finish, and its sounds will clear without you having to visit each slider.
