Choose a Gallery scene you actually want to look at

Look beyond the scene name and find a photograph, amount of movement, and sound selection that you enjoy together.

Look at the photograph before the label

A scene name gives you a starting idea, but the actual picture might matter more. Notice whether you like the colours, how busy the view is, and where your eye keeps landing. You don’t have to pick Forest just because you usually enjoy forest sounds.

Try a couple of images before pressing Start. Selecting a scene is part of setup, so use that moment to find the view you want. Then check its available sound layers rather than assuming the picture comes with every sound in the main mixer.

Let the picture and audio do different jobs

You might enjoy a dramatic landscape with a very quiet sound selection. The image doesn’t require an equally dramatic soundtrack. Start with one offered layer, listen, and add a second only if it contributes something you want.

Likewise, a familiar photograph can work with a different balance on another visit. The scene is a visual setting for your mix, not an instruction about what you ought to hear. Keep the levels comfortable for the way you are using the view.

Check movement from your actual seat

Try Slow zoom both on and off, and look from where you will actually sit. Movement that seems gentle while setting up the controls may feel noticeable when the display is across the room. Use the still view if that suits you better.

Fullscreen can make the image the main thing on your display, but it isn’t necessary to enjoy the scene. When you are finished, close the immersive view to clear its sounds. Choosing a picture you like should be the easy part of the session.
